Heart rate and respiratory rate are approximated from subtle skin-color changes captured by the camera (rPPG), combined with head micro-motion (rBCG). Accuracy varies with lighting, movement, and skin tone, and may differ from medical equipment.

Blood pressure and SpO2 are EXPERIMENTAL and require calibration against a real device; they are shown only as a trend and must not be interpreted as a clinical measure. Variability (HRV) is computed at rest only.

rPPG has a documented skin-tone bias. We mitigate it with POS/CHROM algorithms, multiple face regions, and fusion with rBCG (color-independent), but it is NOT certified or clinically validated across all skin tones.

PRIVACY: video is processed entirely in your browser and is NEVER transmitted or stored. Only the numeric results and a timestamp are sent to the server.

If this demo is deployed to a Latin American audience, the processing of any stored health data is governed by Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia) and LFPDPPP (Mexico).
